About Me
Photography
I first learned how to develop black & white photos around 12 years old in my dad’s darkroom. I liked the process of pointing a camera at a scene and capturing an image. Looking back through my photos I seemed to be drawn to texture and objects. Eventually I lost the urge to develop prints and put the camera down, until a few years ago when I was given a Canon 10D. The instant gratification with no dark room time was all I needed to get interested in photography again. At this point I shoot with a Canon 20D and a few different lenses.
Design
I didn’t get started with designing websites until after I graduated from college. Unsure what I wanted to do or where to start I took a job with a graduate program at Lock Haven University. The job afforded me the time and opportunity to build on my management information systems concentration and, with the help of a few kind individuals, start to teach myself graphic design.
